Ebook subscription service Youboox has partnered with InkBook to offer its services pre-installed on InkBook devices.

The Paris-based Youboox services has been streaming ebooks, magazine and comics in France since 2011.

The new deal means new InkBook buyers will get a year’s Youboox subscription as part of the package, while pre-existing Youbook subscribers can get the InkBook device at a discount.
IDBoox reports,

The offer comes in two versions: the InkBook Classic 99 € (with 1 year subscription).
The InkBook Premium reader is at €149 (with integrated lighting for reading in the dark, a larger  screen resolution and a year of reading subscription).
In addition, readers who are already subscribed to the streaming platform can purchase eReaders for €69 and €119 respectively.

InkBook devices are produced by parent company Poland-based ArtaTech.

InkBook devices are sold mainly in Europe but ArtaTech CEO Paweł Horbaczewski has global ambitions, and this partnership with YouBoox may be the first in a series of moves to give InkBook localized identities and content.
In January, for example, Horbaczewski gave a presentation of ebook and ereader possibilities in the United Arab Emirates.
