Not much detail on this story yet, but Nasher (the Professional Hub for Arab Publishers, reports that Ukrainian Railways will be selling books on its trains from the end of the year.

According to Nasher,

Ukrainian publishing houses commended and celebrated the initiative because it will contribute to a significant increase in sales. Other bookstores and book distribution companies started preparing large orders of books in many languages such as Russian, English, Polish, Hungarian and Romanian; the key languages of tourists who visit Ukraine.

Ukrainian publishing has had a hard time recently, as Publishing Perspectives reported in August, but in October the same journal carried a more positive piece on the Ukraine, and this week’s news suggests the Ukrainian publishing is again moving forward.
